VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Help Preserve Aviation History!
The New Jersey Air Victory Museum is looking for volunteers to assist with several hands-on projects at
our museum in Lumberton, NJ. We welcome skilled individuals, retired tradespeople, aircraft
enthusiasts, veterans, and anyone willing to share their time and talents to help preserve aviation
history.
Carpentry and Door Installation
We need someone with woodworking and carpentry skills to hang barn doors, install the track and
hardware for a 72" x 84" opening, and perform any necessary framing.
Aircraft Restoration — Aircraft Fabric Covering
We are seeking someone with experience in military fabric covering or upholstery, fabric covering, or
similar covering techniques to help cover the upper half of an experimental aircraft.
Aircraft Decals and Military Striping
We need a volunteer with experience applying aircraft decals, military markings, and striping to assist
with finishing an airplane that has recently been painted. Experience applying decals or graphics to
aircraft, boats, buses, vehicles, or other large surfaces would be valuable.
Whether you have professional experience or a background in military aviation, aircraft maintenance,
construction, or restoration, we would love to hear from you. Your skills and time can make a real
difference in preserving our aviation history.
